Possible Gears of War movie coming soon

Microsoft and Universal have collaborated together to announce a full Gears of War movie. During a live-stream of Gears of War 4, Rod Furgusson announced that a fully-fledged Gears of War movie is making its way into production. Although he didn’t give much information he did expose that the movie will not necessarily be related to any of the games in the franchise. They want to make the best Gears movie possible rather than make one most faithful to the game.

Furgusson did mention something secret going one. He said: “There is some stuff going on that I can't talk about today, but I'll possibly be talking about that stuff very soon. I'm very excited about what the future holds.”

This, of course, isn’t the first time they have decided to try and make a Gears movie though; plans like this have been leaked before. The idea is good and with a game like Gears and its amazing story and characters it could really happen this time. So lets cross our fingers and toes and hope for one brilliant movie…
